Summer SOILstice Party

This summer solstice, join us for an afternoon of earth magic at our Summer SOILstice Party — a hands-on, soul-nourishing celebration of the longest day of the year and the launch of our new urban growing project!

• Dig In & Build: Learn how sub-irrigated planters work by actually building them! Some planters will need internal infrastructure, others will be filled with our custom DIY sustainable soil mix (coconut coir, local compost, vermiculite) — no pricey, wasteful bagged soil here.
• Plant Party: Help mix and layer growing media, add plants, and meet our lineup of edible and medicinal herbs like bitter melon, passionflower, toothache plants, and more — part of our vision to grow an educational food forest.
• Wild Soda Tasting Bar: Sip on fizzy magic! We’ll be serving a flight of wild sodas made from park-grown botanicals and handmade herbal syrups.
• DIY Flower Crowns + Herbal Wreaths: Craft your own wearable magic using local and foraged flora.
• Good Intentions: Celebrate the solstice with sunshine, community, and earth-centered joy. Set intentions for the season, connect with fellow growers, and honor the cycles of nature with your hands in the soil.
