Match Your Gift
Having your donation matched at a 1:1 or 2:1 rate can significantly enhance the impact of your contribution. This will benefit you as a donor and realize your employer’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, as well as Solar One’s efforts in promoting environmental awareness and education.
To initiate a matching donation for your contribution to Solar One:
- Start by reviewing your company’s matching gift policy, which you can typically find on your HR website or by contacting your HR representative.
- After confirming your eligibility, complete the required matching gift form, which may be available online or in physical format. If your employer does not provide an official form, you can use our downloadable template below to submit your request to your manager or HR representative.
- Be sure to send the completed form along with your donation receipt to kickstart the matching process, and do this promptly, as many companies have specific deadlines for processing matching gifts at year-end.
- Your employer can then reach out to Solar One to confirm your donation and submit their matching contribution.
