The Wild Center, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Smithsonian Institution, Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, the Climate Mental Health Network, New York City Department of Education – Office of Sustainability, and the National Wildlife Federation welcome you to the Educating for Climate Action Summit during Climate Week NYC. This Summit, held at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, will bring together formal and informal educators from diverse backgrounds to explore key themes in climate change education, including the integration of youth perspectives, Indigenous knowledge systems, and climate justice in learning experiences in and out of the classroom.
