This year is a momentous occasion for Solar One, as we proudly commemorate two decades of service in New York City! We invite you to join us on October 15th for our second Energized event, honoring our 20-year journey of environmental education, green workforce training, sustainable park stewardship, and urban solar development in pursuit of resilience and environmental equity. We will honor Founding Executive Director Chris Collins with the Environmental Stewardship Award in recognition of his stewardship of Solar One and his vision for the organization and its future growth and relevance. We will also honor Gilbane Building Company with the Sustainability Achievement Award in recognition of their network on the new Solar One Environmental Education Center, and Inclusive Prosperity Capital with the Renewable Leadership Award for their work bringing solar power to underserved communities.
