Mohema Hussain
Work-based Learning Coordinator
Mohema Hussain joined Solar One in 2024 as the Work-based Learning Coordinator. She studied Sociology with a minor in Communications and Culture at Fordham University. Her passion for youth development and the non-profit sector has developed through her experiences as an Activity Specialist in an after-school program in Washington Heights, where she taught a social justice and community engagement curriculum to elementary school students. She also served as a Program Coordinator for a high school mentorship program focused on Asian American students living in New York City. Her goal is to support New York City public school students in developing their career readiness skills and providing them with the opportunities and resources they need to excel in the workforce. In her free time, Mohema enjoys exploring restaurants and parks in the city.
