David Crotty

David Crotty is the Director of Quality Assurance for the Property Division at the New York City Department of Finance. Prior experience at the Department of Finance includes a property tax relief program for properties impacted by Super Storm Sandy, working in the newly created Taxpayer Advocate division as well as Energy Efficiency Local Laws in partnership with the Department of Buildings. He also has experience in corporate finance roles in both Fortune 500 companies and small business as well as healthcare insurance/provider companies. David has a BA from St. Lawrence University and Master of Business Administration from the Simon School at the University of Rochester. He also has a graduate certificate from NYU’s – Schack Institute of Real Estate and is certified to be an Assessor in New York State.
