Corina Senior-Egana

Environmental Educator

Corina Senior-Egana is a science communicator and educator with the goal of making environmental education accessible through art, storytelling, and interactive experiences. Originally from South Florida, she grew up appreciating the exposure to such diverse biomes, which instilled a lifelong respect for our environment and a sense of adventure, also learning from them firsthand. She seeks to inspire that same curiosity and wonder in her students. She holds both a B.A. in Environmental Studies and an M.A. in Environmental Conservation Education from NYU, where she studied subjects such as estuarine ecology, community gardening, climate anxiety, and biophobia. Before Solar One, she worked for various organizations throughout New York City, including Gowanus Canal Conservancy, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
