Facilities Technician
Charlene has always been drawn to natural spaces in the urban environment, so when she first learned about Solar One’s stewardship of Stuyvesant Cove Park, she knew she wanted to take part in it. At the time, she was learning construction skills through Solar One’s workforce development programming. Now, as a Facilities Technician, she enjoys working with natural, built, and social systems. Charlene is a native New Yorker and alum of The Bronx H.S. of Science and City College of the City University of New York. In her free time, she likes to read, cook, learn new things, and explore the city.
