Sustainability Policy and Project Associate
Andrew McLean joined our Clean Energy Communities Program (CECP) in 2024 as a Sustainability Policy and Project Associate.
Leveraging his prior experience with the United Kingdom government developing decarbonization policies for the residential sector, Andrew works collaboratively with the NYC Department of Buildings on city-wide decarbonization initiatives and Local Law 97 compliance.
Andrew holds a Master of Science in Environmental Politics from University College London and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Oxford. He relocated to New York City from London earlier in 2024 with his partner.
Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys exploring the city, participating in recreational soccer, and engaging in hobbies such as pottery and cooking.
