Alonza Robertson
Communications Manager
Alonza is Solar One’s Communications Manager who brings expertise in message and strategy development, social marketing and public relations while working with New York and national media, Solar staff and other supporters. For the past 20 years he has worked as a communications strategist focused on business and public affairs issues in corporate America, local-and-state governments, and nonprofit organizations primarily focusing on education, health, finance, technology, architecture and engineering. Most recently, his work has focused on media relations, public relations, community relations and marketing for the City University of New York, the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation and the New York State Society of CPAs. He has also worked as a print journalist in Tampa, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and San Francisco. An alum of Howard University, Alonza lives in Rockland County and has one son, Alexandre.
