About the Brant Event Space
Designed by world-renowned architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the event space includes sweeping views of the East River and the Brooklyn and Queens waterfront.
- 1200 square foot space
- Sit down dinner for 80
- Cocktail reception for 100
- Suitable for receptions, dinners, conferences, presentations, meetings and celebrations
- Weather permitting, events can extend into the native plant park, including use of the outdoor amphitheater
- Occupancy can be increased to 300 guests with a Temporary Public Assembly permit from the NYC Department of Buildings
About Solar One
Solar One is an award-winning not-for-profit environmental education organization formed in 2004 to manage Stuy Cove Park and provide programming and events to be held at its new Environmental Education Center. Solar One’s mission is to design and deliver innovative education, training for jobs in the clean energy sector, and solar technical assistance that fosters sustainability and resiliency; serving youth, teachers, families, workforce trainees, and affordable housing communities throughout New York City and nearby New Jersey.
This unique building offers a dynamic, one-of-a kind venue and opportunity for your special event to help support our critical work.
- Stuy Cove Park and Solar One are easily accessible via public transportation, including subway, bus and ferry stops. Paid parking is available under the FDR Drive.
- Private entrance at the ground level provides exclusive access during events. The space can be reached by elevator or staircase.
- Beginning January 15, 2025, the Brant will be accepting reservations for events in early 2025 and beyond.
