On April 22, the Skyscraper Museum will present a supertall smackdown between two of the most famous buildings in the world: the Empire State Building and Chicago’s Sears Tower, both of which have recently undertaken ambitious greening projects. More information on the Earth Day event, which feature members of each building’s management and design teams, as well as a response by Rohit Aggarwala of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Long Term Planning and Sustainability, is available on the Skyscraper Museum website.
