Creatures Day at Solar One

Tomorrow August 29th from 10am-12pm Solar One will be hosting its 3rd event in its Family Day Series – Creatures Day!

Kevin Belle from Nature’s WILD Encounters will be on-site with a range of native animals for children to observe and ask questions about. We will also have the LESEC here to demonstrate worm composting.

There will be crafts such as coloring, crocheting, face painting, and paper mobiles.

This event is for the whole family and its free, so stop by for a few minutes or a couple of hours. The event is rain or shine.

* Due to the rainy weather on Saturday we will most likely not be tagging Monarch Butterflies, but will have info on the Monarch tagging project and information on butterflies in general.
