G.E.M. 15th Anniversary Cookout

The Grandparents Empowerment Movement (G.E.M.) is celebrating the 15th anniversary of their support for grandparents raising grandchildren with an all-day cookout in Morningside Park. Come enjoy the games, music, karaoke, arts and crafts, or get a free health screening. Make sure to stop by the NYSERDA table where Diana Pangestu of Solar One/NYSERDA will present the EmPower program, NYSERDA’s no-cost program for income qualified homeowners and tenants that focuses on cost-effective home performance strategies such as insulation, health and safety measures, and appliance upgrades.
