Garden for the Environment

If you are feeling out of sorts about environmental issues, maybe a little overwhelmed, sometimes sad, I recommend looking at this breath of fresh air. Fresh air from plants, that is. Take a look at yet another amazing FutureFarmers project, underway in California: Garden for the Environment.

The Garden for the Environment (GFE) Artist in Residency Program (AIR)
Amy Franceschini is the first artist in residence and will work for a period of 10 months to create a Victory Garden in the Urban Backyard (UB) plot. Garden for the Environment maintains a nationally acclaimed one-acre urban demonstration garden and offers environmental education programs about organic gardening, urban compost systems and sustainable food systems.

Doesn’t that help just a bit? I sure think so.
